Our company is seeking a Spray Foam Technician. The prefer candidate will be located within the Northeast Region of the United States (MA, NY, PA, etc.).

This position will be responsible for trouble shooting, diagnosing equipment problems and training customers nationally. Employee will also work with manufacturers and other company employees to insure quality control of products being sold to customers. Will work with other technical staff as a support team to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals.

Key areas of responsibility:

* Responsible for training and educating spray foam customers on a national basis
* Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas that allows Technical Sales Representative to give effective presentation of our Product Line.
* Complete understanding of Graco, Gama, Gusmer, etc. proportioners
* Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers as well as the ability to relate to installation crews while on doing on site training.
* Maximizes all opportunities in the process of training customers and prospects resulting in more sales and increased customer satisfaction
* Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
* Responsible for identifying and building effective network through all building professionals, including but not limited to architects, builders, code officials, and tradesmen in order to maximize revenue.
* Use CRM type program to maintain records of training and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, and follow-up activities.
* 50% travel will be required most times
* Must be comfortable and proficient in public speaking in a class room style training

Requirements

Candidate must have:

o Strong knowledge of spray foam insulation applications, processes and manufacturers.
o Knowledge in troubleshooting spray foam installation problems.
o Excellent verbal communication skills, both on the phone and personally.
o Strong planning, time management and organizational skills, as well as oral/written communication skills.
o Able to use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Power Point.
o Marketing experience a plus.
o Training experience a must.
o Ability to build new, long-lasting relationships with vendors, customers, and sales representatives.
o Availability and ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
